Ergonomics - All Arctic Spas are ergonomically designed using therapeutic principles. Each spa is engineered to fit the contours of your body, to provide proper lumbar support and to maximise your comfort while the therapeutic waters do their work. The ergonomic support engineered into each spa works with the principles of hydrotherapy to maximise the benefits of each Arctic Spa. For centuries, warm water, such as that from a hot spring, has been recognised for its therapeutic properties. Submersion in warm water causes blood vessels to dilate, increasing blood flow to body tissues. Warm water jets stimulate your muscles while you relax. The buoyancy provided by the warm water takes pressure off stressed joints. The Heatlock System - Each Arctic Spa comes with our Perimeter Heatlock Insulation system, designed to minimise heat loss and to maximise energy efficiency. Once the spa shell is placed into the cabinet, high density insulating foam is applied to the floor, cabinet walls, doors and the spa rim underside. This creates a sealed dead air space similar to that found on most houses in the Northern USA and Canada. Unlike most spas, the equipment, heater and pumps of an Arctic Spa are positioned in this insulated area. This maximise energy efficiency, shields against mechanical noise and protects the equipment from freezing. The incidental (waste) heat that all motors and heaters produce is trapped in this sealed air space and naturally transferred through the spa shell, directly heating the spa water. Recovering waste heat from the motors and heaters significantly reduces the overall heating costs of the Arctic Spas. Other spas direct this ambient heat outward into the environment. The captured heat within the Perimeter Heatlock system also acts as a secure protection against freezing in sub-zero temperatures. If power to your spa is interrupted, heat from the spa water slowly transfers back into the insulated airspace, protecting plumbing and equipment from freeze up. Even at 40 degrees below zero, your spa water will stay above freezing for days and your equipment would be protected from freezing. Our Heatlock System design allows for easy access to all components making servicing or upgrading your spa with the latest jets or technology a snap.

Topside Control Panel - Arctic Spas offers one of the most technologically advanced and user-friendly topside control units. Engineered to perform in every season, the digital temperature display has solid state accuracy. Besides fingertip temperature control, the topside control unit oversees diagnostics, flow switch failure, overheat protection and freeze protection. Heat and filtration cycles are all programmable. The self-diagnostic feature of the controls allows for easy servicing of the spa. In many cases our service technicians can isolate and solve problems right over the telephone.

Peak Ozone - Peak Ozone System® is the most advanced Water Purification System available. It picks up where our CD system left off and takes it to the next level. Now, maintaining pristine, purified water in your spa has never been easier! Ozone is perhaps natures most powerful purifier. It is widely used to purify drinking water because it is pH neutral, chelates metals and destroys pathogens and other organic contaminants quickly and with no residual chemicals and with no residual chemicals remaining in the water. Electronics - Arctic Spas' revolutionary power modules lead the spa industry in technology. Solid state circuitry provides accurate readouts and energy efficiency.

V.O.S. System - Spa models are available in one of three jetting configurations of increasing therapeutic value. Only Arctic Spa's Signature Series spas employ the VOST jetting method - German inspired engineering that doubles the jet performance of our full-body therapy seats. With the different configurations of jets, you can try new positions to find the most soothing, satisfying soak. The different jets massage your upper body, your arms, your lower back, your legs and your feet. Standard jets can be easily removed and interchanged within minutes, individualising your massage. Each jetting configuration and seating design has its own unique feel and therapeutic focus. From the muscles in your neck down to the tips of your toes, an Arctic Spa has you covered.

Filtration - Water is recovered and filtered at two locations in all Arctic Spas. Surface water is taken in at the floating weir, while the deeper water is drawn in from suction fittings in the footwell. The weir filters debris before it gets to your pump and causes costly damage. This filter system is designed for the highest flow rate possible to increase the amount of water filtered daily. Filtration cycles are also fully adjustable to accommodate bather load.

Flexihose - Arctic Spas are the first in the hot tub industry to use Reflex Torsion Hose in every spa. This highly specialised pipe is designed to fit externally over rigid fittings, and PVC glued into every fitting, by allowing greater gluing surface, higher water flow and eliminating fitting leaks due to hose movement. This pipe actually swells to absorb stress from fittings. Reflex Torsion hose is clear with a colour coded strand of PVC running through it. This makes for easy troubleshooting and allowing us to see the coloured glue at all glued fittings when inspecting each spa.

The Hull - For a lifetime of enjoyment, we start by choosing from a wide selection of high gloss, marbled and textured cast acrylic. The surface is tough and cleaning is a breeze. Bonded by our specially formulated composite reinforcing process, Arctic Spas' are the strongest and most durable hulls in the industry. We incorporate multiple layers throughout the hull to increase structural integrity, which is one of the reasons we offer a Lifetime Structural Warranty on all of our spa hulls.

The Cabinets - Arctic Spas prides itself on its cedar cabinets, giving you one of the best looking tubs on the market.

Each cabinet is constructed using only Western Canadian Clear Red Cedar, grown at the foot of the Canadian Rockies. The premium wood is chosen for its strength, quality and durability, and has an elegance which will grace any setting.

All our cedar cabinets are hand finished and have a clear protective stain applied which prevents moisture and UV damage, and minimizes maintenance.

Around the cabinets are up to 8 inset access doors, positioned on all sides, allowing for easy installation, and service and upgrades to any part of the spa.

The interior is also fully insulated, meaning no cracking or splitting, making sure the tub looks as stylish and new as it did when it was installed, for years to come.

Forever Flex™ Cabinets

Forever Flex cabinets are a stylish carefree alternative to our cedar range. The entire cabinet is constructed from composite fibreglass.

The exterior of the tub has specialised Eon panelling, creating an impervious and maintainance free spa.

The panelling comes in a choice of colours, and can be removed for access. Should you wish to change colours, or renew the panels, these can be replaced independently of the spa.

Their sleek design gives a modern look to any location.

The Cover - Once again, insulation is the name of the game. Common sense says that heat rises - that is why Arctic Spas makes the thickest cover in the spa industry. Don't fall for imitations. Arctic Spas' Polar Covers are designed for those who really want the best insulation available. The 5" to 4" tapered Polar Cover eliminates large heat loss problems found on other manufacturers' covers. Structurally reinforced, all our covers are capable of supporting the weight of a heavy snowfall. As an extra feature, we add an insulating baffle between the two halves to prevent heat loss along the seam. The interior cover skin is made of swimming pool grade, vulcanised vinyl with reflective qualities to lock in heat and repel moisture. The exterior is marine grade vinyl, to withstand the harshest climates. Locking straps secure your spa cover against wind and protect small children from entering unsupervised. Be sure to ask your salesperson for a cover weight load capacity demonstration - as shown by the picture on the left - you will be amazed!

Forever Floor™ (optional upgrade)- Already renowned for our sturdy wood floor, standard on every Arctic Spa, our engineers decided to raise the standard again by developing the Forever Floor®. Composed of hand-rolled fiberglass composites, this floor is impervious to moisture, pests, RATS and time! It completely eliminates the need for foundation materials like concrete, decking or blocks! Just set it on the ground, hook it up, fill and use...installation has never been easier and your floor will last forever in any conditions. In addition, your portable spa is now truly portable. If you move spa locations in your garden or ifyou move house, the foundations come with you!

Mood Lighting - Arctic Spas really shine at night with our underwater lighting. At the touch of a button, flood your tub with colour and create the perfect atmosphere for a night-time soak.

Aromatherapy - The power of scent to positively change your state of mind is a widely accepted and utilised natural therapy, and a perfect enhancement to a therapeutic soak. Each Arctic Spa incorporates an aromatherapy dispenser that introduces fragrance directly into the spa's air injection system. You can choose from a variety of available fragrance beads or use any of your favourite essential oils. The combination of aromatherapy and hydrotherapy is powerful and soothing for both body and spirit.
