use a tremendous amount of energy. Using the heat that the
equipment produces, to help heat the water, results in the
electric heater element running less often and that saves

Insulation makes sense - Equipment outside of the
insulated area can freeze up in a few hours if a power failure
occurs in winter conditions. Remember, water that is not moving
freezes quickly. The 400 gallons of water in most spas will
retain its heat for an extended period of time in the winter.
Most of the time, it will last for days before freezing. Now,
if you remember physics lessons, heat always travels from
hot to cold. You 104 degree Arctic Spa will protect its own
equipment automatically by transfering that heat back down
through the fibreglass and keeping the equipment area above
freezing. No longer do you have to worry about your investment
in winter and that MAKES SENSE !
Access
under the spa makes sense - When was the last time
you bought a new car with the bonnet welded shut? How would
you change the oil. Underneath all spas are hundreds of fittings
and connections that could one day possibly leak or fail.

had easy access to the underside. Being able to freely get

Perimeter
insulation makes sense - Don't let anyone convince
you that 3 feet of insulation under your spa is necessary
and then say that only a 3 inch cover on top is okay. Remember,
heat rises. A basement full of insualtion and a few inches
in the attic does not mean a house is well insulated. Insualtion
needs to be in the right spot. Perimeter Insualtion MAKES
